Great food i usually order the roasted pork and its always good. I also enjoyed there chicken curry. Great flavors and very consistent.
I opted to order takeout from there, and I must say, their menu offers a diverse range of options, making it challenging to decide. Ultimately, I went with the rice bowl featuring duck, chicken, beef, cabbage, and scallion ginger sauce. It was delicious, satisfying and filling, providing enough for two meals. This is going to be my "go to" Asian restaurant.
A friend just suggested I get my chinese new year meats from here, so grateful they told me because my family was very pleased. Even though I had to drive nearly 45 minutes to pick up this order, it was worth it. We had the White Chicken, it was seasoned well and tender. The Duck was delicious, meaty and juicy. The Roasted Pork belly, wow! They gave me half lean and half fatty, because chinese people like the fatty ones. The skin was crispy and the meat was cooked to perfection. While i was waiting in line, I heard another customer say how their roasted pork belly was the best he's ever had... even after a couple days in the fridge, my mouth was still watering when eating these leftovers. Now i'm looking for reasons to go to Dorchester just to pickup a lunch plate.
Great food and fast service! I have been going for over 10 years. They recently changed new ownership but the food remain the same. 100% recommmended!!!
This is the only spot in greater Boston that my partner will get his char siu, siu yuk, and all the other roasted meats from. Check it out!
Pretty good juicy roast pork here and other items on the menu . Like the salted chicken also .
I had the most amazing lunch at Lucky Cafe this past Friday. I got the three treasures rice plate with roasted duck, roasted pork and white cut chicken. The portion is huge and the quality tops. I had enough for two meals! Located on Dorchester Ave, this place is only take out. Street parking is pretty challenging but getting your lunch fix here is totally worth it! Oh and Lucky Cafe is cash only so make sure you head to the ATM first!
An oldie but a goodie on Dot Ave for those lazy day meals. There's some greens hiding under the meat as well
